If you’re a fan of classic playing cards that seed dozens of card games, look no further than graphic designer Louie Mantia‘s upcoming playing card sets.
These two distinct French-suited, English pattern playing card decks are fully redesigned with tradition and class in mind, and they are meant to be enjoyed and played, along with being collected as decks.
Louie is a seasoned designer whose artistic and creative qualities match his business acumen. He has created Japanese playing cards in the past, and the active project on Kickstarter is using a great pair of domain names: Junior.cards and JR.cards.
That’s right, a two letter .cards domain! 😀
It would not make sense to register one without the other domain, said Louie, whose Kickstarter project extends beyond the basic card sets to boxed “Kiribako” sets with a rolling dice and uncut prints of the beautifully designed card set.
Incidentally, dot .cards are domains operated by TrueName Domains, the mother company of Donuts.
