The dot .LOVE Registry wants to spread love all over the Internet, and is releasing new, premium domains.
According to an announcement, .LOVE is releasing new 2-character and 3-character domains in six months. The .LOVE registry has not previously made 2-character and 3-character domains available for public sale. As of 15:00 UTC on March 15, 2021, 2-character, and 3-character domains for .LOVE will become available for sale.
Such short domains, for a short gTLD, might be appealing to domain investors, individual registrants or businesses.
The only change taking effect on March 15, 2021, is that the premium list for .LOVE will expand to include these newly released 2-character and 3-character domains. .LOVE’s premium tiers will remain unchanged, and no change in price will occur for any existing premium domains. In other words, existing premium .LOVE domain registrants are safe.
The base price for non-premium .LOVE domains remains at $20 /year. Registrars mark up this cost according to their strategy.
