MERGE! 2017 opened its gates today, in Orlando, Florida; the multi-discipline conference invites a variety of industry professionals, including domain investors, cryptocurrency enthusiasts and marketing/branding experts.
Saturday was networking day, although the majority of attendees arrives tomorrow, and the keynote will be delivered at 10:00am by branding expert, Jennifer Wolfe.
Cryptocurrency subjects are a hot potato, as is the technology behind it all, blockchain. The conference room presenting information on the related subject of initial coin offerings (ICO) was packed.
An interesting session on augmented reality using Aurasma software showed what the future of technology intermixing with the real world looks like.
The session structure of MERGE! ensures that everyone gets to attend the sessions they are most interested in, and the coming days will be very busy.
