Microsoft Analytics is a business platform displaying detailed statistics for your cloud servers.
According to the Microsoft site:
“The Microsoft Analytics Platform System can meet the demands of your evolving data warehouse environment with its scale-out, massively parallel processing integrated system supporting hybrid data warehouse scenarios. It provides the ability to query across relational and non-relational data by leveraging Microsoft PolyBase and industry-leading big data technologies. It offers the lowest price per terabyte for large data warehouse workloads.”
It seems that the domain MicrosoftAnalytics.com is clearly being squatted upon, according to the WHOIS per DomainTools.
Microsoft went ahead and acquired the domain MSAnalytics.com from BuyDomains, and they are now actively using it. The domain was acquired sometime in March, but the full transfer occurred in late May. There is no indication about its selling price.
BuyDomains often sells domains in the $2,000 to $5,000 dollar range. Knowing how much was paid by Microsoft for the domain HoloLens.com, we would not be surprised if it were an equally low amount.
Seems like a fair valuation. The estibot value is $1200. Lets assume the selling price was about 3 to 4 times that. That seems to be the going rate when you have an end user acquire a domain.
Rick – I suppose if you rely a lot on estibot valuations you must have left a lot of money on the table. Check out weekly sales reports on DNJournal for some five and six figure sales.
