It’s 2025 and Namecheap delivers notable sales of .AI domains on its marketplace. In fact, Namecheap will be the default platform where expired .AI domains are to be auctioned daily, taking over from Dynadot and its monthly auctions.
CEO, Richard Kirkendall, shared news of a fresh list of select domains and prices that were sold in January 2025.
According to this quick report, the following .AI domains were sold on the Namecheap marketplace:
68.ai – $8,000 dollars
678.ai – $8,000 dollars
78.ai – $8,000 dollars
89.ai – $14,000 dollars
98.ai – $8,000 dollars
Dti.ai – $35,000 dollars
Fasttrack.ai – $30,000 dollars
Healthplans.ai – $13,911 dollars
Heidi.ai – $39,950 dollars
Lilli.ai – $10,000 dollars
Reindeer.ai – $30,000 dollars
Rift.ai – $50,000 dollars
Salesagent.ai – $23,911 dollars
Starbase.ai – $58,000 dollars
Tether.ai – $100,000 dollars
Wink.ai – $70,000 dollars
That is a total of $506,772 dollars in .AI domain sales, as far as this group of domains goes.
It seems that the .AI ccTLD, associated with “Artificial Intelligence,” will continue being the ccTLD of the year in 2025!
