Accenture acquired Reactive Media Pty Ltd (Reactive), one of Australia’s largest independent and multi-award winning digital agencies, in 2014.
The acquisition completed two months later and since then Reactive.com, the matching .com domain of Reactive remained live with content provided by Accenture, an Irish-American professional services company based in Dublin, specializing in information technology services and consulting.
Note: Accenture reported revenues of $50.53 billion in 2021, making it a top Fortune Global 500 company.
As it happens in many such corporate acquisitions and mergers, the domain name Reactive.com was somehow deemed unwanted, a wrong approach in our opinion. Or, perhaps, allowing the domain name Reactive.com to lapse was an accident or a technical glitch.
Reactive.com was allowed to expire and it eventually dropped. It’s now being auctioned on DropCatch as a fresh domain registration, having lost its “ancient” registration date of August 7, 1995.
The ongoing auction of Reactive.com is now closing in a little over a day; the current high bid stands at $12,395 dollars.
Update: The auction closed at an astounding $168,450 dollars; user DemandS won the auction.
