The Domain King, Rick Schwartz, ran a digital marathon yesterday, performing a monumental purge of his Twitter feed.
Thousands of Twitter followers were removed manually, as Rick intends to maintain a clean Twitter followship, free of anyone who is either a bot or an acolyte of suspicious domain practices.
Said Rick Schwartz:
“After nearly 15 hours I’ve purged 5001 followers. 1 by 1. You can add 1529 that I have blocked. For a grand total so far of 6530 deleted followers.
I still have 3407 accounts to go through.”
As Rick’s Twitter account is private, every request to join the Domain King’s domain is manually approved (or not.)
Meanwhile, that’s not all that the Domain King did on Christmas day; we noticed the following domain names were moved under his control:
- jappa.com – acquired for $1534 dollars
- rouchy.com – acquired for $364 dollars
- vergie.com – acquired for $420 dollars
All three domains were picked up via DropCatch, where the Domain King has been engaging in active bidding for several months now.
