Domain registrar Sav has entered a major new chapter in its mission to empower creators and domain investors.
The Chicago, Illinois based registrar has partnered with D3 Global, the company pioneering what it calls DomainFi — the tokenization of traditional Web2 domains on blockchain rails. Together they aim to open Web3 capabilities to more than 100,000 Sav customers across 90+ countries.
Through this partnership, Sav will integrate Doma Protocol, acknowledged as the world’s first DNS-compliant blockchain designed to tokenize the internet itself. The move means Sav users can soon convert their existing domains into blockchain-based tokens while keeping full DNS functionality for sites, email, and other everyday uses.
