Sea.com, a three letter, acronym and dictionary word domain has been sold.
The domain moved to the CSC registrar today, redirecting to SeaGroup.com.
According to Guta, brokers of premium domain names, Sea Group operates Shopee, a popular e-commerce brand in Singapore.
Registered in 1990, Sea.com was previously owned by Calacom LLC for many years.
And a fun note: The original registration of the domain Sea.com in 1990 cost nothing; it’s one of a large group of domains that predate the change in rules that established domain registration prices in 1995.
