Separated as toddlers, two brothers reunite thanks to Domaining.com

Domaining.com – the popular aggregator of blogs related to the domain industry – can now claim another first for its ever-expanding list of trophies.

Meet Rob and Bruce – two domainer bloggers who were unaware of eachother’s existence – until that fateful day that Domaining.com listed their blog entries stacked on top of eachother.

Busy domainer entrepreneur, Bruce Marler, took a look at the feed of Domaining.com only to discover his mugshot that accompanies his blog post, right above that of Rob Monster, CEO of Epik.com

“I recall my mom saying at some point that I had an older brother, a year older than me, who was given away for adoption when I was still a baby. All these years I tried to find him but they would not release the information”, says Bruce from his office at LocalTek.com

If it weren’t for Domaining.com Bruce and Rob would have never met.

After giving Rob a call, the two men realized that they looked alike in their blog posts for a reason: they are indeed brothers and the resemblance is striking.

“I’m glad I found my long lost brother and thank God, it wasn’t Chef Patrick”, said Rob holding a beer.

It is now to be seen how this newly-found family relationship will improve the business relationship as well. The two brothers are optimistic and plan to launch a joint venture soon.

Lucius — Thank you SO much for the help in tracking down brother Bruce. As you can see, he is actually much better looking than me. That was because our (surrogate) mother only beat me and never Bruce. Bruce always got off easy because he listened to Momma and did his chores. I kept trying to talk to Momma about technology ecosystems and global economic stuff. Momma would just LOSE it. Whhacck. Not pretty, and that’s why Bruce is better looking. There I said it. Please go easy on me next time we see each other at the conference. I am a little fragile about it.

LOL, Rob I am so sorry for what Momma caused. I am very happy that Domaining.com has brought our family back together. As with you I am so glad it was not Chef Patrick that was my long lost brother. I am I would of sued for this story not to be released if I would of found out as much!

Nice Lucius! I hope Patrick sees this now:)

haha, I think you guys are missing the rest of the story here… You openly talk about your status as siblings, you both talk about your mother but guess what.. I know what you did last summer.. oops, wrong post.. what I mean is, I know what you’re leaving out of this… “Luke, Chef Patrick is your fathaa” muahahahaha

Jesse, I have to look into this. It’d mean that most domainers are closely related!

How cool is this story? Great news for both brothers, and how weird that both ended up in domaining. Guess that’s one more in the eye for the old ‘nature’ vs ‘nurture’ debate, lol

    Congratulations. 🙂
