Microacquire, a company that assists other companies get acquired at a higher valuation, has acquired the premium, aged domain Acquire.com.
The transaction appears to have completed via the Uniregistry Market and its former Korean registrant must be truly happy.
Microacquire is now planning to rebrand, as Andrew Gazdecki, CEO, noted:
Your favorite startup acquisition marketplace will be reintroduce’in ourselves soon. Same mission, same vision, same purpose. Let’s go!
The domain name Acquire.com was registered in 2000, presumably after a drop in the late 1990’s. It remained in the hands of its Korean registrant since at least 2004.
The domain name’s potential sale was noticed by Jamie of Dotweekly over the weekend.
