Two dozen .AI domains under DAN.com control

DAN.com provided a ground-breaking, reliable transfer service for lease to own (LTO) sales.

The service utilized a Dutch domain registrar, Metaregistrar BV, to facilitate these transfers until the buyer paid off the entire amount.

Although DAN.com is now dead, as far as transactions go, there are several domain transactions that involve .ai domain names, which are still under the control of the Dan Transfer Service.

Some of these domains resolve, others do not. Some transactions have taken place in 2024 but several seem to have taken place earlier this year. The existence of a “Dan Transfer Service” reference may or may not indicate that these domains are not paid off in full yet.
