The Commission on Presidential Debates announced that Donald Trump and Joe Biden would have a virtual debate next week, after the White House became a raging hotspot of Covid19. The Coronavirus pandemic has killed more than 210,000 Americans so far, and Donald Trump is currently infected by the virus.
Alas, such virtual debate that’d safeguard the health of others wasn’t welcomed by the US president, who refused to participate:
“I’m not going to do a virtual debate. I’m not going to waste my time on a virtual debate — that’s not what debating is all about, you sit behind a computer and do a debate — it’s ridiculous. And then they cut you off whenever they want,” Donald Trump told Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business.
Which means that any glimpse of hope that the domain VirtualDebate.com would be the ultimate epicenter of this election’s final presidential debate has been vastly diminished.
Registered in 2004, the domain name matching the “virtual debate” reference does not resolve, currently.
Joe Biden’s campaign announced that he will participate in next week’s virtual debate.
