In what could possibly be the biggest domain sale by Domain Name Sales yet, Rick Schwartz has apparently sold the adult domain, XXXVideos.com.
The 1997 registration has been held by the Domain King®, Rick Schwartz, since at least 2001.
XXXVideos.com was parked with Domain Name Sales since 2011, before Frank Schilling’s sales and parking outfit opened to the general public.
The WHOIS information for XXXVideos.com changed on Thursday, which combined with the current adult content [NSFW] leads us to believe that the domain has been sold.
Information on XXXVideos.com shows that adult web site operators, Streamate Network, acquired the domain.
Who is Streamate?

In 2015, Rick Schwartz sold the adult domain Porno.com for $8.88 million dollars, and we’re confident that the apparent sale of XXXVideos.com is in the same range, of mid-seven figures USD at a minimum.

There is a good reason for that.
Western word doesnt use the term XXX very often. We tend to use “porn” as the most dominant term.
on the flip side XXX is the top term in middle eastern, Indian, Asian countries.
He has a whole blog posted about this particular domain and the hits and how it relates to the new GTLDs.
Probably a top 3 of all time for the importance and how it relates to the new extensions. If you look back it’s about 2 years old.
The traffic numbers on this name are incredible$$$.

There is NO doubt domain gets a lot of traffic.
However about 75% of that traffic is from India and other Asian countries.
The other part of this traffic is typo traffic from users looking for other big adult tube sites with similar names.
That’s all not very valuable source of traffic, that would make this a 7 fig name.
We have similar names, with similar traffic profiles, so there is no need to guesstimate here.
Adult traffic is cheap, very cheap these days with lots of it for sale.
So dont assume this name was bought solely for it’s type in traffic alone.
My hat is off to Rick if this was a 7fig sale !

If there is a lesson to be learned here: Rick Schwartz is not the Domain King because he likes the crown, it’s because he makes royal decisions. Don’t expect this domain to have been sold on the cheap, regardless of what others did. Rick breaks the mold every time.
I think xxxvideos is a white label using streamate.
