Thousands of fans of the sport gathered outside the Piazza di Poppolo arena in Ft. Lauderdale, where the boxing match of domainer heavy-weights Franko “Rumcake” Schillingezi and Ricardo “Web Padre” Schwartzini took place last night.
After the match ended on a technical knock out, footage from the fight was examined by Domainer Gazette expert, Kevin Murphy.
“This is shocking to say, but the match was most likely staged. I saw Schwartzini land soft blows with the back of his gloves, while Schillingezi willingly kept himself on the ropes” said Murphy.
“It’s a disgrace for the sport!” added Murphy, preparing the Domainer Gazette column.
In a further development, urine tests for both boxers were ordered late last night, and it’s unfortunate to announce that they both came back positive for tiger blood and human growth hormone; both substances are prohibited by ICANN, the boxing authority for gTLD matches.
The boxing event will thus be rescheduled for a later time, when both heavyweight domainers have purged themselves from any and all bias and resentment for each other.
Boxing matches for domainers extend the requirement for a clean, gentleman’s sport and require appropriate behavior and respect of the rules.
