Ending months of speculation about which domain name they will use, the St. Louis Rams have finally made a decision.
In a shocking interview this afternoon, the Rams executive Vice President announced the acquisition of the domain Cowboys.com.
“Recent comments in the media about how we should buy Rams.com were rather disconnected from reality.
As a forward thinking NFL team we always felt close to the Dallas Cowboys.
By owning the .com of such an important franchise we’ll be able to negotiate good player deals during next season’s draft.
I thank our fans and supporters, we are building a great team for the years ahead!”
The acquisition of Cowboys.com for a reputed 9 figures USD, will reward its owners handsomely.
More than 8 years after its failed sale at a TRAFFIC auction, Cowboys.com will have an owner that competes in the National Football League.
Cowboys.com had a temporary use as a gay personals site, a move that made it undesirable for the Dallas Cowboys owner, apparently, who stopped inquiring about the domain.
By acquiring the domain Cowboys.com, the St. Louis Rams are now positioning themselves at the top echelons of the NFL. The team will be renamed as the St. Louis Cowboy Rams for the 2016-2017 season.
It will be an interesting football season ahead, for sure.
Lol!
My butler prefers the Dolphins
