Tequila is a popular drink, whether as a shot or in mixed drinks.
Speaking of liquor, in 2006 the domain Vodka.com sold for $3,000,000. Whisky.com raised the ante, with a $3.1 million sale in 2014 and now there are more liquor brands than you could ever imagine.
Back to tequila news; after all, it’s Friday, and hopefully everyone has plans for the weekend ahead. 
John Paul Jones DeJoria, the owner of Paul Mitchell hair products owns Patron tequila.
Rocker Sammy Hagar started Cabo Wabo Tequila, and later sold 80% of it for $80,000,000 dollars.
And the big news continues, with actor and entrepreneur, George Clooney, announcing that the tequila company he started, Casamigos, sold for $700 million dollars, with another $300 million paid out in five years if the brand becomes bigger.
That’s $1 billion bucks, folks.
With all this in mind, Estibot claims Tequila.com is only worth $360,000 dollars, and we could not disagree more.
Tequila.com, a digital brand owned by TBWA UK Group Limited – they also own Agency.com – is a huge domain, and we’d place its value at between $10 million and $15 million dollars.
While the domain Tequila.com is not for sale, this might change in the future.
