One of the coolest guys we met at NamesCon 2017 in Las Vegas, is Jason Polenick.
The youthful looking GoDaddy employee is in fact an experienced domain industry veteran of 8 years with the largest registrar in the world, where he works as an Aftermarket Support Manager.
During NamesCon, Jason stood out from the 50-strong GoDaddy crew, by being extremely helpful and sociable.
GoDaddy does hire great people, for sure.
After playing a “guess my age – nope, guess again” game with Jason, he shared with us his insights about the domain industry, and some interesting stories about the glorious past of GoDaddy (think: Sassy Super Bowl commercials).
Jason is a fan of comics and video games, and operates iBeatitFirst.com – a games review web site.
You can reach out to him on Twitter at @iBeatitfirst.
Clearly you use the same camera phone as Tim Cook 🙂
Jamie – Will bring a selfie stick to NamesCon 2018 😀
Glad you met him he is a big part of GoDaddy and Afternic and always happy to help people.
Haha it was a pleasure to talk to you as well, never imagined I would be making the frontpage of DomainGang.com! Thank you for the IBIF shout out! 🙂
Jason – It was great meeting you! And the GoDaddy power brick saved the day when my phone ran out of battery flying home.
