Seasoned domain investor, John Yeomans, has become *the* prime expert in domain names as of today, after registering DomainName.guru.
Taking advantage of the tiered landrush that allows applicants to pay a higher premium to secure better gTLD domains, John Yeomans appears to have spent an extra $120 on top of the annual registration fee.
Most .guru domain names will have a renewal fee of $39.95 but some might be priced as high as $99.95 per year, or more.
There is no indication what John plans to do with the domain name as currently it does not resolve.
The word guru is a marketing term used by ad agencies and the meaning of “guru” as a teacher or leader has been used to cover anyone who acquires followers, becoming an expert in their field.
Congratulations to the new Guru of Domain Names! 😀
Congrats to John!
Shouldn’t guru be attributed to a person rather than a thing?
The last time I looked domainer.guru was available! $189 Priority.
Second thoughts, I understand…

I’m sorry, but this looks like a waste of money.

I tried to register sex.guru but it said I am too hot for that and I need a .com 😀
