Those of you that put faith in the good old American ccTLD, dot .US, better take notice.
Neustar, the .US registry, has scheduled a price increase for these domains on July 1st.
The prices go up by 50 cents, both for registrations and renewals.
Most domain registrars will increase the price of dot .US domains by that exact amount; some, however, might sneak in a larger hike in prices, so keep that in mind.
Now it’s the time to renew your dot .US domains and save $1 dollar for every two domains you renew; meanwhile, Name.com runs a .US special: only $3.99 for every NEW dot .US domain registration.
Can’t beat that deal!

How to kill a ccTLD:
Not advertise your ccTLD to its citizens AND raise the price.
Way to go, Einsteins!
