Numbers can hide the truth – especially when they contain freebies.
New gTLD registrar, dot .CLUB gave away no free domains, and that’s why it’s actually #1 on the charts. Both .XYZ and .Berlin gave away thousands of free domains, with .XYZ being notorious for robo-registrations for the majority of its claimed domains. They simply do not belong in the spots they artificially occupy.
