New gTLD domain registry, Minds+Machines, is most likely to be remembered by the domainer community, after they declared “the death of the .com” in a Facebook ad.
The uproar caused by that statement is still remembered and often parodied.
Despite the occasional spoof ad, Minds+Machines means business, and they have apparently allocated a healthy budget to marketing and advertising.
