If you’re a domain investor and a fan of the Adkins diet, there’s a new king in town: the gTLD diet.
Most domainers struggling with weight issues can attribute their extreme gain to the food served during domain conferences.
Jacob Spudowski, a domainer from Seattle witnessed his weight yoyo between 180 to 325 lbs.
“Every time I attended TRAFFIC or Domainfest, the food was so good I could never get off the buffet to watch the presentations,” says Spudowski.
“Rick Schwartz’s generosity has made my cholesterol jump!” added Spudowski.
Unlike these domain conferences, there is no free breakfast, lunch or dinner during NamesCon; an event heavy on gTLD presentations, something that the domain conference organizers take pride in.
“Our attendees have lost 20 lbs on average during the conference, and some, like Jacob, lost more than 40 lbs of weight that they kept off by following some simple instructions,” says Richard Lau, founder of NamesCon.
The so-called “gTLD diet” works by keeping attendees glued to their conference rooms, engaging them in multiple ways; ICANN’s introduction of hundreds of new gTLDs this year has made the domain market very competitive.
“I can’t afford to miss a single presentation during NamesCon, and that keeps me away from any serious food, but I drink a lot of free, delicious water thanks to the Water School provisions!” exclaims Jacob Spudowski.
NamesCon 2015 takes place in January, don’t miss it – particularly if you’d like to lose some weight.
