In a clear exertion of Big Brother force, Google is pushing for a ‘mobile-friendly’ web across its millions of stored web sites.
Bigger than any Panda update, the push to pass the mobile-friendly test even has a deadline: April 21st.
Creating extra work for thousands of web masters and developers that scramble to tune up their web sites just to satisfy Google’s SEO baron, Matt Cutts, is a demonstration of digital era bullying.
The best part is that the web site of Matt Cutts, at MattCutts.com, fails to pass the mobile-friendly test, on two counts:
- Text too small to read
- Mobile viewport not set
It’s ridiculous that Google demands such changes in the first place, but at least we got a good chuckle out of this. 😀
Oh no way. That is gold!
Google ……..Delete Him !
My own site ‘Domains Feast’ has been completely revamped by myself to include a new pricing structure & now passed Google’s mobile-friendly test – that’s great!!
Who really cares WTF Google wants? As proved above even the SEO Hitler doesn’t care! Checked moments before writing this. It still fails the test.
All .tel sites are mobile friendly
John – Nobody cares about a dead TLD.
Good one!! 🙂
