With DN.com escrow services halted temporarily, allegedly due to Chinese Government regulations, competition is fierce in the Chinese domain market in need of a reputable escrow service.
Stepping in to fulfill this need, DNN.com, intends to change its focus from an inactive domain news site, to a live, thriving domain marketplace and escrow.
“We’ll be proceeding with launching our domain escrow services in China, with full compliance to the Government’s technical and social requirements,” said Adam Strong, DNN.com owner.
“We’re anticipating a large, positive reaction to how we’ll be rolling out dozens of new mini marketplaces for the Chinese domain investors, who want a reputable domain escrow that understands their culture and language. I know our domain is one letter longer than DN.com, and that the Chinese like domains to be short, but I am very confident in our established brand,” added Strong.
DNN.com had been reporting domain name news until early 2015, when it stopped; the opportunity to diversify its function and important role in the domain community has now manifested.
Although DN.com is currently up, we have no doubt that the new domain venture by DNN.com will absorb a large portion of the domain escrow business in China.
The DNN acronym will now stand for Domain Name Negotiator.

How do we know that it’s not going to be taken offline by the Chinese government like DN.com was? Realistically we didn’t know anything was wrong there until one day it was just gone. To me this looks like another overnight escrow shop opening to take advantage of inexperienced sellers entering the Chinese market.
