Domain Auction Marathon ends with a stinky mess for Domain Fighter

Villy Vradenberg is a domainer from Graz, Austria with more than 25,000 domains under his belt. The tall, stocky father of three is a serious investor in the ccTLD namespace and primarily registers .at and .de domains.

“I learnd too fight fromm yung age, meine idol vas Arnold Schwarzenegger who loves too krush ze enemy”, says Villy smiling widely. “I learnd too invest und bid at auktionnen und never, never surrender!”.

A recent auction bidding session for a .com domain between Villy Vradenberg and a mysterious bidder from China turned into a lengthy bidding marathon.

The bidding platform was Namejet, where seasoned uber-domainers such as Frank Schilling, Ammar Kubba and Ukrainian Gina Domainova often resort to find aged, valuable domains.

Villy kept bidding for the domain for more than 11 hours, after each and every bid of his was countered by the mysterious “Chinaman88888888“.

“I bid und bid very strongly as dis domain was fundamental too meine business here in Austria. I hab ze .at but needed ze dot comme. Zo, I fight und bid for very hours, did not eat or did not go too ze bathroom for pissfing or schtunnking!”

When the auction was finally over, Villy had won the domain but at what price! His 11-hour marathon fight against the apparently Chinese bidder, during which he was confined to his computer chair ended with a big mess of bodily fluids surrounding his work station.

“I took zis fight like a mann, und I did what had too be donne. Never surrender! Zo, I just went pissfing und schtunnking right zere, on ze chair, so not too miss bidden.”

Villy’s dedication to Namejet bidding has earned him the nickname “Domain Fighter” – a reminder that even in the virtual world competitiveness can sometimes exceed common sense. Villy plans to buy a new computer chair and will keep several large empty beer barrels next to his workstation next time.
