The total number of new gTLD domains has now surpassed 25 million registrations; the milestone indicates strong demand.

A recent, ongoing poll we ran shows strong positive sentiment for new gTLDs: 62% of those who voted like new gTLDs.

Domain entrepreneur, Frank Schilling, is predicting that 50 million new gTLD domains will be registered by 2019, a figure that is quite plausible – as long as Registries educate the general public about the many benefits of new gTLD domains.
