Things are getting quite spicy on Twitter, where Rick Schwartz made a colorful analogy earlier today.
In an attempt to emphasize that it all depends on how you sell something, not what you’re selling, the Domain King® stated:
“The difference between a $50 hooker and a $5000 call girl may be THE ASKING PRICE!!
Same with #Domains If you ask $10k, you can’t get $100k”
Whoah!
Some domain investors might not like being referred to as either “hookers” or “call girls” – but Rick’s spicy paradigm attempts to deliver a message with a shock factor, and he clearly succeeded in that.
To sell the goods, you have to ask the price, and to ask the price, you need to have the goods, it’s as simple as that.
