Scientists issued a fair warning about tomorrow’s total solar eclipse: be careful not to look into the sun with a naked eye.
At the same time, registering “eclipse” domains manually might cause irreparable harm to your wallet.
“Domain investors spend a lot of cash on domains with a temporary lifespan,” said domain investor and human behavior analyst, Yuri Anush.
“Solar eclipse domains only matter for the less than 3 hours it takes for the partial eclipse to begin and end. Do you seriously think people care about your stupid solar eclipse domains after it has ended?” added Yuri Anush.
It is estimated that 842 domains about “total solar eclipse” will be registered tomorrow, making domain registrars and the registries extra cash.
“I wish those idiot domainers would stare into the sun directly instead,” said Yuri Anush, adding: “Save your money for some tsunami, quake or other mass extinction event domains – a total solar eclipse hasn’t killed anyone since the 1500’s.
Regardless of whether you decide to seek “totality” tomorrow, or waste money on worthless domains, be safe.
