Greek Freak on Wikipedia.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Greek basketball player who has established himself as a top seed athlete with the Milwaukee Bucks, is known to his fans as the “Greek Freak.

Taking his sports fame even further, Giannis has launched his own sports and casual clothes line, aptly named Greek Freak.

A week ago, the trademark for GREEK FREAK was officially registered at the USPTO, for the following classes and goods:

CLASS 18: Backpacks
CLASS 25: Shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, jackets, hooded jackets, sports jerseys, socks, warm up suits, caps, hats

The trademark further states:

The name “GREEK FREAK” identifies the nickname of Giannis Antetokounmpo, a living individual whose consent is of record.

Meanwhile, the domain name GreekFreak.com was most likely sold by HugeDomains earlier this year. At the time, it was listed for sale with a $2,995 dollar price tag.

GreekFreak.com was registered all the way back in 1998 and existed as an adult site, according to Archive.org; it dropped in 2014 and was caught via DropCatch, becoming part of the HugeDomains portfolio of domains.

Currently, GreekFreak.com displays a live countdown, with 61 days remaining, pointing to April 22nd. It is not clear if it’s indeed owned by Giannis Antetokounmpo or his franchise.
