#Sedo lifts $50k price-capping for high value #domain names

Sedo, a premium DomainGang sponsor, announced some exciting news about high-end domain owners.

Price capping is now removed, and top notch domain owners will now be able to list their domains without ordering an appraisal first.

Said Sedo:

Here’s a neat update for those who want to sell their high-value premium domains at Sedo: We’ve lifted the price cap, meaning there is no need to order an appraisal for domains above $50,000 anymore.

If you believe your domain is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, you should be able to set the BIN or reserve price accordingly. No longer will Sedo be requiring that a domain name appraisal is necessary.

This is a great move as it opens up the Sedo market for domain investors that want to move their domains according to independent valuation.

Additionally, Sedo is now seeking submissions of LLLL .com domains for its upcoming 4L .com auction. The maximum reserve is $499 dollars.
