Grandma Heidi Powell fought hard to keep her domain HeidiPowell.com but a travesty lawsuit gave it away to a weight loss celebrity by the same name.
The decision to take away her matching domain name was based on a bankruptcy and lots of creative lawyering. Grandma Heidi Powell bent under pressure and the financial cost of defending her turf.
But oh how karma punishes the lawsuit’s winner!
Celebrities Chris and Heidi Powell are now splitting after 10 years of marriage, and the obvious consequence is that Heidi Powell – the gymnast celebrity – will no longer be known as “Heidi Powell.”
They said on Instagram – where else:
“We have some difficult news to share with you today, and hope it’s received with the compassion and love we need right now. It is with much thought, prayer, and love that Heidi and I have decided to separate as husband and wife.”

Grandma Heidi Powell’s day of reckoning arrived via the delivery of cosmic justice, and she noted the event on Twitter:
“Are you laughing? I can’t wait until she changes her name.”
The domain HeidiPowell.com expires in November 2021.
