News about the upcoming GoDaddy sale via auction was announced late last week – some domainers are already rejoicing while others took a more skeptical approach.
“GoDaddy selling? Finally, I can’t believe they lasted this long with such unhappy customers”, said Ulof Staalpe from Sweden.
“I had trouble accessing my account and GoDaddy kept offering me web hosting with every domain registration, so hahaha if they sell, good riddance!”
Meanwhile, back at GoDaddy HQ, Bob Parsons – the illustrious President and CEO – announced that despite his $1 billion dollar goal for the sale of GoDaddy, certain things are off limits.
“Heck, I am not giving up the dream! BobParsons.me will continue to offer solid advice to all domainer entrepreneurs! And GoDaddyGirls.com will always feature my close female entourage – of course, as a married man I love my wife the most but you know how things are!”, added Bob with a wink.
Millions of GoDaddy customers are facing weeks of uncertainty ahead, as the name of the buyer has been speculated upon. Some believe it’s a rich Saudi prince, while others are confident that the Chinese will eat up yet another American business.
