Boardroom.com has moved to the #Domain King’s royal stables

Update: Rick Schwartz has stated that despite the WHOIS change, he’s still in partnership with Mike Berkens on the domain Boardroom.com:

Mike and I are still partners on Boardroom.com – The price of boardroom.com has gone up considerably and for marketing purposes, it will eventually resolve to Domainking.com as soon as I crunch and study the traffic and PPC numbers.

The original article follows:

Boardroom.com, an ultra-premium domain registered in 1994, is now in the possession of the Domain King.

Rick Schwartz acquired the domain from its former registrant per the WHOIS, none other than Michael Berkens aka “The Domains.

The two domain veterans have been managing high quality domain portfolios for the past 25 years or so. It seems that the domain Boardroom.com was jointly acquired by Schwartz and Berkens in 2016 for the sum of $75,000 dollars. Source: Namebio.

As the WHOIS info now shows Rick Schwart’z contact info, we can assume that the Domain King paid a fair price to buy his partner’s share.

What would be the plans for Boardroom.com? Generic keyword use aside, it could become a private boardroom for domain investors to discuss things, perhaps like Clubhouse. 😀

Congratulations, Rick!
