Move any mountain: Digimedia partner hauls the .com

It’s been 30 years since Shamen had a massive hit with “Move any Mountain” and Reflex Publishing, a Digimedia partner, has apparently moved the domain Mountain.com.

WHOIS changes show the domain in the possession of SoCal IP Law Group LLP, a law firm of “super lawyers” that handles intellectual property matters for high technology and high growth companies.

The domain Mountain.com was last registered in 1997, presumably after an earlier registration failed to renew. The domain’s lander displays a flashing “M” graphic with the notice MNTN Digital.

Meanwhile, the domain MNTN.digital was registered earlier in 2021, with a California address and “Steelhouse” as the registrant, so the two might be related.

Enjoy Shamen’s 1991 epic hit.

Reflex, not Digimedia. Scott Day isn’t part of Reflex but Reflex is partners in Digimedia. If I remember the story correctly.

Stephen – You are correct. The DNS change threw me off.
