When Yvette was 7 years old, instead of playing with other kids in the yard, she preferred to read Diderot’s Encyclopédie – the famous 18th century French encyclopedia.
By 9 she was dissecting frogs and larger animals and at age 12 she was admitted to the prestigious Centre universitaire de formation et de recherche Jean-François Champollion.
Today, aged just 23, Yvette Aurélie Carrillo is the niece of famous domainer entrepreneur, Francois Carrillo and a key manager of his corporation.
“But yes, my uncle is very busy, very busy man!”, says Yvette with a smile. “Naturally, I showed interest in domain research from when uncle Francois talked about domains at a family dinner. We had a lot of cheese, escargot, red wine and foie gras, and he asked me to become research manager at Cybertonic, his online empire. Naturally, I accepted. J’adore uncle Francois!”
Yvette’s daily tasks involve perusing the online domain communities and forums, researching the markets for potential acquisitions of domains and web sites. With over $2 million in annual sales and thousands of daily eyeballs across the Cybertonic network, Yvette’s role has led her uncle’s enterprise to ever-strengthening success.
“But of course, Yvette is simply wonderful, I adore her”, says Francois while sipping French vanilla coffee. “Also, speaks English better than me, eheheh! And domains sell like crispy croissants as we say in France.”
Several French investors are already impressed, not only by Yvette’s business skills but also by her beauty. She was recently approached by Paris Match to be featured as an example of a natural “beauty with the brains“, along the lines of Brigitte Bardot and Monica Bellucci.
Meanwhile, Yvette Aurélie Carrillo is focused on her job and is not dating any domainers currently.
“Perhaps in the future”, she says with a smile. “I don’t mix my TLDs with my love life and I am still too young to commit to a relationship. But I would like my future husband to know what ‘pigeon shit’ means”, she says laughing.
