Just sold: Domain seller gave buyer a whopping $70,000 dollar discount!

The Dutch seller of Studion.com gave the buyer a massive discount on Afternic, taking off $70,000 dollars from the original asking price and selling it for “just” $10,000 dollars.

Upgrading from the matching .co to the prestigious, aged .com domain, the buyer wasn’t yet sure if he made the right choice (our honest opinion: hell yes!)

Registered in 1994, Studion.com means “studio” in several languages, including Greek, and comes from the Latin word “Studium.”

The domain name Studion.com appears to have sold via Afternic, although it was listed on Dan.com as well. Its seller, veteran domain investor Rico Dekker, acquired it as an expired domain for just $1,000 dollars in 2010. Source: NameBio.

The upgrade and domain rebranding from Studion.co to Studion.com is a smart decision; the domain’s buyer, Alfred Nerstu, has some wicked negotiation skills to get such a sizable discount. 😀
