Dan.com integrator API to shut down in September

Dan.com will be shutting down its integrator API, a programming method that allows third parties to offer domains for sale outside of the Dan platform.

According to news shared by domain investor and integrator API participant, Homi Wong, the API access will end on September 5th of this year.

Wong’s use of the Dan.com integrator API has allowed him to create Sudos, a multi-platform listing manager for domain portfolios. The platform offers integration with the APIs of Sedo, Squadhelp, Escrow.com, Afternic, and Dan.com among others. Obviously, the latter won’t be possible, according to Wong’s notification.

By removing the API access, GoDaddy-owned Dan.com is hinting of a possible end of life for the popular marketplace in the not-so-distant future.

Updated with a statement from Dan.com:

“The decision to discontinue our Integrator API was not made lightly. We came to that decision so that we can refocus our time and resources to our core platform. By putting our resources there, we can strengthen our commitment to providing an exceptional aftermarket experience.”

How do you know a company with bad management?By their actions .
They never listen to their customers complaints.
They never take advise to improve.
They care only about themselves first.
They buy their competitors and then destroy them
They suck and keep the same people making bad decisions instead of improving .
