DropCatch warns of scheduled maintenance, dowtime this week

DropCatch, the domain auction behemoth owned by HugeDomains, warned its users of scheduled maintenance this week.

The auction services will be postponed during the downtime, leading to the extension of the auctions during December 7th and 8th, which is this weekend.

The exact announcement by DropCatch reads as follows:

“DropCatch will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on December 7 2024 [7:00AM MT] until December 8, 2024.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this time. Auctions ending the 7th & 8th will be extended.”

If you plan to bid on domains that end during that period, keep that downtime window in mind. It’s always wise to be present at a DropCatch auction’s closing time, or to set a maximum reserve bid in advance, just in case you’re in a different time zone.

Update: Downtime extends to NameBright and HugeDomains – users of the platform have been notified.
