In an all-Turkish legal domain battle, the generic domain Mikro.com has been salvaged from a UDRP filed at the WIPO.
Between 2005 to 2010, the two Turkish companies established a business relationship, and the domain Mikro.com was used, along with the Turkish ccTLD Mikro.com.tr.
The decision by a three member panel not only found that Mikro.com should remain with the Respondent, they also delivered a finding of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking.
For the record, Mikro.com was registered 20 years ago, in 1995, while Mikro.com.tr was registered in 2004.
