Today is a sad day for domaining.
Mike Mann’s account at Facebook got deleted. So unfortunately, we will miss all the direct juicy stories of this great domainer, straight from the source.
Mike’s been quite open about his personal drama – despite our common sense advice – and he believes in the freedom of speech.
Some said that Mike Mann’s Facebook behavior violated certain rules. Others believe that he did not.
Regardless, a private board such as Facebook has its own rules, and there are procedures in place ensuring that rules are enforced.
We will probably never know what truly happened. The domaining world is poorer after the loss of Mike Mann’s Facebook account, let’s hope he gets back on track soon.
For those of you that have missed on the drama, here’s a link to our previous posts about Mike Mann.

That why I don’t use FaceSh-it (opps)——-why use someone’s site when you have no control??
All it takes is one –just one famous guy that Facebook deleted his/her account and everyone will know that you are at the mercy of Facebook or tweeter
Joe – Thanks for the link! 😀
BullS – But there is always SocialDomainers.com 😀
G’morning! Having experienced the very same situation with F-Book, I understand his feelings. I was in the process of assembling gal-friends, from around the world, and was “nuked” for adding friends, too fast…? That’s their story, not mine. Most of my profile friends had the 5,000 friend limit, I was in the 600 friend area. I have approx. 120 domain names, and had the vision of using this relationship as a marketing platform, for women’s “everything” merchandise. But, F-Book disabled my work…! At first, I was upset, but now….who cares! Alot of their program appears to be geared towards porn, in all of it’s forms. Google is close to opening “GOOGLEME” as a social-based product, and they already have a base, close to 300 million members, in waiting. Summing it all up, I’m going out for “yard-work” therapy…. it’s all good! Everyone have a great day, Jerry-
I’m pretty sure this guy deserved to be cut off. The stuff he was posting was way beyond inappropriate.
Jerry – That’s a shocking experience. A lot of people invest a lot of time and effort on Facebook, when it’s clearly an overblown medium for business. Sure, it’s fine for keeping your friends on a constant check, but other than that…
Randy – Sometimes there’s a reason why people openly discuss their private matters on a public medium.
Mann lives, just barely, but closing lots of great deals and building fantastic businesses, charities, new book, and web sites and apps galore, http://www.MikeMann.com/whatshot
