Anybody could have done it: For the price of $1.249 Million dollars, the domain Anybody.com was listed for sale on Afternic.
Then somebody—allegedly—did it, although the exact sales price was not disclosed.
Said that person:
“I was going to buy a patek phillipe or an Aston DB11 AMR I BOUGHT THIS INSTEAD: ANYBODY. C O M COMING 2025 ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED”
The tweet was accompanied by a photo spelling out “Anybody.com” as seen below:
That same person noted:
“It was a knife right getting this one 3 diff domain brokers … weeks of negotiating”
The WHOIS of Anybody.com displays no recent changes and it’s still listed on Afternic. It is not clear if the alleged acquisition was an outright purchase or an LTO plan.
