BigMama, operating from the domain BigMama.com, was a Russian internet services provider.
The company was providing web hosting, VPN access, and DDoS protection for attacks of “up to 350 Gps” with the following message:
“Services are resistant to various kinds of provocations of your enemies and other idlers.”
The original message in Russian was “Услуги устойчивы к различного рода провокациям ваших недругов и прочих бездельников.”
Somehow, Russia-based BigMama lost her footing and the domain expired. It was caught by DropCatch and the domain BigMama.com was auctioned off for three days.
The auction’s winner, DropCatch account “HillsEyes,” bid $4,355 dollars to win the auction, beating AbdulBasit Makrani who bid “just” $4,305 dollars.
We’re not sure what they plan to do with the domain BigMama.com as it has a past connected to a failed Russian web & hosting services provider.
