CasinoChips.com #domain auction closed at #DropCatch

The auction for CasinoChips.com, a domain that someone failed to renew and it dropped after 25 years, has closed.

The closing price, $3,687 dollars, will have to be paid by bank wire, PayPal, or credit card. No casino chips are accepted.

DropCatch bidder lawyer0247, a Korean domain investor who’s not a lawyer, won the auction.

Why was CasinoChips.com allowed to drop, losing its 1996 registration date?

Apparently, it was controlled by the domain ESRLaw.com, which dropped as well a while ago. That domain is now up for sale by HugeDomains.
