Some domain names do not need much of an introduction: they are strong generics, with a positive, tangible meaning; we like to call them “ultra premium domains.”
One of them, City.com, has been used as a developed city portal for large metropolitan areas for the better part of the past decade, serving millions of web pages with local city information. Its current registration date is from 1996, according to DomainTools.
And now, the domain is available to be acquired, under an exclusive brokerage contract with Igloo.com.
City.com is one of these ultra generic domains that would represent any social or technological industry at brand level. It’s essentially priceless, but it’s obviously priced to sell according to its value and worth.
The seller’s expectations are thus very reasonable, and any offers should start at low seven figures, according to Igloo. This would be the starting negotiation point.
City.com was just added to the Igloo portfolio of brokered domain names, and any inquiries can be made right here.
