Clueless #domainer lists #JacksonvilleShooting .com on NamePros

Following a mass shooting tragedy in Jacksonville, Florida, a clueless domainer registered JacksonvilleShooting.com.

Such domain registrations related to crimes or disasters are frowned upon by domain investors.

In this case, the registrant listed the domain at NamePros, and asked for people’s opinions on its value:

” Unfortunately there was a mass shooting today in Jacksonville and it’s all over social media. What do you guys think the appraisal value for this domain?”

Naturally, such a stupid move received strong responses:

“You are one sick puppy. You are seeking to profit on a tragedy involving multiple fatalities. Opportunistic, Ambulance chasing, at best. Your stated logic shows a poor moral compass.”

Another response said:

“You are clueless. This is one of the few names worth negative four figures. You might as well shut down your profile and delete any name you have listed here. Here is a copy of the OP just in case you decide to try to hide it. Scumbag.”

The registrant shrugged off the replies, insinuating that they break the rules of engagement on NamePros.

Eventually, the thread was closed and the domain was removed from the title. It has been captured here.

Edit: The thread has now been disabled completely by the moderators.

Law of averages, there’s always one dickhead in the bunch!

Judging by the other posts of the same author, who appeared recently and is very active, he must be a bored old domainer smurf account to troll people “just for lulz”.
