The Domain King, Rick Schwartz, is busy bidding on domain auctions at DropCatch, beating other bidders when he sets his sights on a particular domain.
After a recent medical scare and a successful installation of “widgets,” Rick is definitely feeling better! As it happens, Rick owns the domain name Widgets.com. π
We came across one domain name that the Domain King won at an auction at the end of February, that of CyberMeet.com. The closing cost at DropCatch was $2,049 dollars. Source: NameBio.
Cyber meet is a reference to “cyberspace”βan abstract reference to the electronic world surrounding us online.
It’s also a term that science fiction fans still use and in this case, CyberMeet.com would be great as a dating platform, or a random Zoom call web site. At any rate, it’s now available for “joint ventures” from Rick Schwartz’s repository of meaningful domain names.
Oddly, the closing cost of $2,049 dollars reminds us of Blade Runner 2049, a great sequel to the Blade Runner classic that takes place in a world where cyberspace and reality collide.
Perhaps next time we’ll hear about CyberMeet.com it’d be due to a massive sale by the Domain King!
