The Domain King, Rick Schwartz, is busy bidding on domain auctions at DropCatch, beating other bidders when he sets his sights on a particular domain.
After a recent medical scare and a successful installation of “widgets,” Rick is definitely feeling better! As it happens, Rick owns the domain name Widgets.com. 
We came across one domain name that the Domain King won at an auction at the end of February, that of CyberMeet.com. The closing cost at DropCatch was $2,049 dollars. Source: NameBio.
Cyber meet is a reference to “cyberspace”—an abstract reference to the electronic world surrounding us online.
It’s also a term that science fiction fans still use and in this case, CyberMeet.com would be great as a dating platform, or a random Zoom call web site. At any rate, it’s now available for “joint ventures” from Rick Schwartz’s repository of meaningful domain names.
Oddly, the closing cost of $2,049 dollars reminds us of Blade Runner 2049, a great sequel to the Blade Runner classic that takes place in a world where cyberspace and reality collide.
Perhaps next time we’ll hear about CyberMeet.com it’d be due to a massive sale by the Domain King!
