Yumi.com restaurant – NOT the spammers.
We recently covered the spamming activity of Yumi.com, for which they have yet to send an apology email.
In Chinese, “yumi” means corn, a popular cooking element in China.
It seems that the domain parking provider from China are not the only ones using “Yumi.com” for their brand.
How is it possible?
A Chinese restaurant in London, England, uses the same name – YUMI.COM – although they operate from yumicom.co.uk.
According to their web site:
“The staff at Yumi.com are quick, friendly and attentive. Make tonight an easy night in and pick up some authentic Chinese takeaway from Yumi.com.”
Confusing, isn’t it?
Perhaps someone needs to tell them their brand does not match the domain name they operate from.
