Domains that end in dot .ai form 95% of all domain sales in recent months, bringing the revenue of Anguilla, a British territory in the Caribbean, to $7.9 billion dollars so far this year.
Millions of .ai registrations at an average price of $80 dollars a pop mean one thing: If you don’t sell .ai domains making six figures a piece, you’re a nobody.
Domain investor and entrepreneur, Thomas Bobo feels this way; with zero sales of .ai domains so far in 2024 the future looks bleak.
“Having sold 20 or so .com, .net, .org, and .me domains every week since December, I’m quite embarrassed by the fact that I haven’t sold a single .ai domain. What’s wrong with me?” asks Thomas Bobo, hiding his face in his hands.
“It’s shameful, it’s devastating, my friends and family are upset I’m not swinging big dick sales of .ai domains like the Booth brothers, is it my lack of foresight investing in single digit .ai domains or something is wrong with my brain?” asks Bobo, bursting out in tears.
Big sales of .ai domains remain in the hands of competent, solid domain investors that are truly expert; displaying cockiness is considered a virtue whereas non-sellers are clearly becoming beta males really fast.
“If I don’t sell any .ai domains by March I’m calling it quits, despite having made mid five figures in total sales in January, life’s not worth living without .ai,” says Thomas Bobo, staring into the abyss.
Domain investors that aren’t scoring in the .ai field are advised to seek help from their primary care physician and receive potentially life-saving therapy and medications, when pushed over the edge by peer pressure.
As said, there is millions of .ai domains being registered so there lot of supply far more than demande, only selective domains that meet real value are catched.
