Domain rebranding: AthenaGo has acquired the domain Athena.com

An exceptional example of domain rebranding is the recent acquisition of the domain Athena.com by AthenaGo.

The start-up is using AI to build one-to-one partnerships between “best-in-class remote Executive Assistants and high-achieving professionals.”

One of the oldest .com domains ever to be registered, Athena.com has a 1991 registration date.

The transfer of Athena.com appears to have taken place around November 9th; AthenaGo.com now forwards to Athena.com. The company’s X account still displays AthenaGo.com.

So how much is Athena.com worth?

The Saw.com valuator gives it a value of $234,000 dollars, while Estibot truly lowballs the domain, appraising it at a mere $116,000 dollars. We believe that the domain was valued at seven figures before the sale, representing a popular Greek goddess, among other references.

Athena.com was in the possession or Mr. David Pollak who used it as his personal blog.
